*Raw material used to make tissue paper:

1)Jumbo roles-(Hard Jumbo reels-)
(Depending on quality it varies in the range of 50 to 70per kg)
2)Soft Jumbo roles- 100/kg
(For hygienic purpose and facial use this type of soft reels are used).
3)Apart from that you will need to have some packaging material like boxes, wrapping paper,glue, cellophane,etc.

*Tissue paper making machine.

Tissue paper making machine is not so critical, it can be run by a singal person.Price of the machine depends on size and speed it's working capacity. The working capacity of machine is 400 papers per min.You can produce both plain and printed napkins.
Capacity of production-
Plain napkins-25000pcs per hr.
Printed napkins-23000pcs per hr.price of the machine depends on size and speed of manufacturing product. The price of the machine is  4lack to 5 lack .

*Process of making tissue paper:

Raw material is the most important part of tissue paper making business. Firstly you have to make the paper pulp. Normally tissue papers used are white coloured but if you want you can add an assortment of dye for coloured tissue. After that you have to remove all moisture content from tissue by pressing. It gives dried and crispy touch to tissue.
Creeping:
In this process papers are passed through a roller dryer which is heated by steam.This is also a process of drying where all moisture content are remove.
Cutting and Reeling:
Here large sheet cut into small size and reels with the help of winding machine.
Packaging:With the help of boxes you can pack it in perticular ammount of tissues.

                  * Location

To start this business you need about 400 to 500sq m of area. Check the proper availablity of electricity as you required it to make tissues.Upto 4000 to 5000 Rs Electricity bill you required monthly.

*Obtain Trade licence and Pan card of your firm.

                     *Loan facility

Tissue paper making business is a small scale business but if you do not have required capital, MSME can provide you loan facility or you make take loan from various government schemes like MUDRA YOJANA, by submitting required documents.

                    *Marketing

Marketing is the most vital issue for any business. Tissue paper market is increasing rapidly as it becomes the health and hygiene issue. There are various wholesale or retail investors available in market, or you can sell your product directly to hotels corporates etc. You can produce tissue of specific hotel brand as per their demand. There is also a good option of online selling. Normally the tissue we use are white coloured but as per market demand you can produce colourd tissue also. There is double colour embossing machine is available in market. In nearest mart or mall you can sell your product on contract basis.

Initially you required just 2 or 3 people's. It is not necessary that labour should be educated.
